Web Design - Research

I really like the design on this the messy ripped out effect which looks as if has been photoshoped to create this effect; there are paint splats and rubbed our graffiti which gives the look of a more messy which in my opinion gives me the impression of the designer's work to be more street image with lots of graffiti and more rough and ready designs. I like how you have to roll over the buttons otherwise the next pages wouldn't be seen I also like the the graffiti making it look like a messy scribbled unlooked after design.

Web Design - Research

I really like this website the has lots of interactivity as such as the volume button and the animation through out the website.
I love how you have to move through out the website where you have to interact pressing buttons as well as finding the different tools so you can progress

Unit 39: Website Design - Slice tool

Using the slice tool selecting the overlapping slices then combining them into the amount/layout that was needed. Then using save for web and save it as an image and html.

Unit 39: Website design - Research

This is a screenshot from the website: http://www.rolando.com.br/site
The website design is based around a house with a graveyard at
the side with the main scrolling option is to use the arrow keys to use to move across the extended screen.
The design created is done in a creepy way but the cartoony style soften
s the effect and looks more childish with the big eyes on the c
haracters. which is shown with the cherub with a more disturbing type of drawing as the head with a gas mask, along with the little elements which you discover as you interact and move along in the website.

The screen with hearts hanging down with a cherub on the cloud are a contradiction to the scene with the house and graveyard but one the heart is pressed the heart becomes bigger but the picture of the designer has devil horns which is somewhat ironic to the appearance of the heavenly like imagery.

I really like the way you have to interact by clicking on the different objects such as in this scene where you have to pull the lever that makes the portfolio of work 'erupt' out of the volcano.
